ICE Arrests and Deports Hundreds One Day After Inauguration!
Trump is making true on his promise to deport criminal aliens no matter where they hide...
Sen. Katie Britt praised ICE’s arrest of 308 undocumented migrants, including violent offenders, as evidence of Trump’s commitment to aggressive immigration enforcement on his first full day back in office. Advocacy groups and Democratic leaders strongly opposed these measures, with lawsuits filed challenging their constitutionality and the administration's push to end birthright citizenship.
Sen. Katie Britt announced that ICE officers arrested 308 undocumented migrants on President Trump’s first full day back in office.
The arrests targeted individuals across the nation, including those charged with murder, rape, sex offenses, and kidnapping.
ICE officials also ordered nearly 300 additional undocumented immigrants serving jail time to be transferred to ICE custody instead of being released onto the streets.
Britt lauded these actions as a sign of Trump’s commitment to fulfilling his campaign promise of the largest deportation effort in U.S. history.
She characterized the actions as “common sense” returning to immigration policy.
Following his return to the White House, Trump signed multiple executive orders to restrict immigration and enhance border security.
Advocacy groups and some Democrats criticized the measures, labeling them harsh and unconstitutional.
The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) filed a lawsuit against Trump, citing constitutional conflicts.
Twenty-two Democratic state attorneys general also sued the Trump administration over the immigration orders, including the proposed end to birthright citizenship.
